During the week of November 16, Prof. Dorota Grejner-Brzezinska of The
Ohio State University, Science Chair of the 6th International Symposium on Mobile Mapping Technology, visited the Campus of São Paulo State University at Presidente Prudente, where the Symposium will be held next year. She met there with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). Several organizational issues were discussed related to the Symposium external sponsorship, sources for financial support for students and young scientists who plan to contribute papers to the Symposium, the venue and
the scientific program. The decision was made that the selected papers from the Symposium will be peer reviewed for a special issue of Boletim de
Ciências Geodésicas. The symposium registration will be
open in January 2009. Due to the recent international economics
instability, the registration prices were reviewed and the new values are
in the webpage. The abstract submission is now open via the link in the
webpage. Please, check here!
2) Due to several requests “registration opening” has been postponed to 10 Jan 2009.
